The Department of Art History offers Rice undergraduate students an opportunity to study abroad through our HART in the World program. Every other summer faculty members lead a group to visit one of the world's great cultural centers. Next year the HART in the World summer course will be held in Berlin and will be accompanied by a Spring semester seminar at Rice.
The program is open to current Rice University undergraduate students, regardless of major or field of study. The Department of Art History covers airfare, lodging, and site admissions.
The course this year will be led by Dr. Graham Bader, Associate Professor of Art History, and Chloe Millhauser, Art History PhD Student.
