2025-2026 Contemporary Arts Museum Houston Fellow

As next year’s Contemporary Arts Museum Houston Fellow, Yiran will work under the guidance of CAMH's Assistant Curator on a major upcoming exhibition and publication that will survey the work of a renowned Houston-based contemporary artist.

Hear more from Yiran on why they decided to apply to the CAMH fellowship:

“CAMH stands out to me because it has long been the site of provocative experimentations and critical dialogues in Houston. The diversity of ideas CAMH embodies and its commitment to making the arts accessible are the key reasons for my application. I am eager to collaborate with and learn from the amazing curatorial team of CAMH. This position is an ideal next step to hone my curatorial skills and think deeply about the social responsibilities of a scholar/(-)curator. As CAMH is at the forefront of introducing new, interdisciplinary, and relevant narratives of contemporary art at Houston, I am excited about the potential to contribute to exhibitions that expand public consciousness and create opportunities for wider conversations.“
