Rice Preview brings together prospective graduate students from around the world to campus every year so that they can tour the school and meet with faculty and potential future classmates to learn more about the extensive programs and opportunities that the university and city of Houston has to offer.
The two-day preview last week had students attending the School of Humanities Dean’s Reception followed by a visit to the Houston Museum of Natural Science to experience “Night at the Museum,” a fun evening of drinks and activities amid the museum’s spectacular collection of dinosaur skeletons. The next day was filled with tours around the local art museums including The Menil Collection, Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston guided by our art history’s current graduate students.
