Rice Cinema - Robert Frank

Rice Cinema with programming help from Ayla Davis ‘24, this year’s Camfield Undergraduate Fellow at the MFAH film department, will be screening Robert Frank’s short films over the span of two days to celebrate the famed photographer’s centennial.

Screenings are free! For film screening titles and times that start tonight and continue into Saturday, visit Rice Cinema.

As a recipient of the William A. Camfield Undergraduate Fellowship, Ayla, Lovett senior majoring in art, is working as an intern in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston’s Film team this year assisting in previewing and evaluating a diverse range of films for programming consideration, updating the archival database of the history of films shown at the MFAH, and assisting with circulating a collection of films by Robert Frank.

If you’re a Rice student interested in interning at MFAH next year like Ayla, consider applying to the 2024-25 Camfield Undergraduate Fellowship. Application deadline: March 1, 2024. Visit the Department of Art History awards page for more information.
