Congratulations to senior Kenzie Pickett, double majoring in Art History and Ancient Mediterranean Civilizations, for being awarded the 2023 Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts!
The Department of Art History and the Office of the Dean of Undergraduates recognized Kenzie’s accomplishments and her dedication to the arts with this prize. The award was established by Mr. Louis Sudler of Chicago, a musician with a lifelong commitment to the training of young artists in university, and the prize has been awarded to graduating Rice seniors exhibiting promise in architecture, art/art history, photography and film, or music since 1983.
Kenzie will be awarded $5000 to be used in whatever manner that will help in furthering her intended career.
