The Department of Art History recently took HART undergraduate and graduate students on a day trip to Dallas/Fort Worth to view Surrealism and Us: Caribbean and African Diasporic Artists since 1940 at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and Sarah Sze at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas. The trip was organized and led by Prof. Fabiola López-Durán and PhD candidate Lynne Lee who are teaching "HART 329/529: Race & Art in Modern Latin America" and "HART 302/568: From the Sublime to the Sustainable: Art, Architecture, and Nature" this semester.
