The Department of Art History at Rice University in Houston, Texas, invites applications for a two-year Post Doctoral Fellowship in the field of Ancient Greek Art and Archaeology. The appointment will be shared by the Departments of Art History and Classical and European Studies and offers a salary of $50,000, a research/relocation allowance and is benefits eligible.
The Fellow will teach one course each semester (Fall and Spring), achieve significant progress on a research project, give a public presentation at the end of the 2 years, and participate in the intellectual life of the campus. The successful appointee must have received his/her Ph.D. between July 1, 2013 and July 1, 2016. The position begins on July 1, 2016.
