Nikki Moore - CAA Reviews

PhD candidate Nikki Moore’s review of From the Page to the Street: Latin American Conceptualism (June 30-August 26, 2018), curated by Julia Detchon for the Blanton Museum of Art, has been published with CAA Reviews. The Blanton galleries that contain From the Page to the Street open to the viewer like a jewelry box filled with Latin American treasures created between the 1960s and the 1980s, and drawn from the museum’s own collection of drawings and prints.

Nikki Moore is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Art History at Rice University. After completing her S.M.Arch.S at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, (MIT) in 2005, Nikki continued her graduate studies in philosophy and communications at the European Graduate School (EGS). Her current research focuses on the industrialization of food-based commodities and concurrent development practices in modern Latin America, focusing on their symbiotic relationship to art and architectural practice.
