Ph.D. candidate Nikki Moore was named one of the ten Ph.D. students selected worldwide to present a chapter of her dissertation, "The Aesthetics of the Green Revolution: Architecture, Art and the Agrilogistics of Transnational Aid from the United States to the Caribbean Region, 1930-1978," at the 2019 Buell Dissertation Colloquium at Columbia University in New York City. The Colloquium will be held on May 3-4, 2019, at Columbia University's Buell Center for the Study of American Architecture.
The Temple Hoyne Buell Center for the Study of American Architecture is part of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. The purpose of the nearly quarter-century-old Buell Dissertation Colloquium is to provide a forum for discussing significant new work by emerging scholars.
