Dr. Carly Boxer presents at The O'Brien Lecture Series on medicine in Medieval England

Dr. Carly Boxer, Carney Postdoctoral Fellow in Medieval Art and Architecture, will deliver a presentation entitled "Picturing Medicine: Healing, Observation, and Images in Late Medieval England" during lunchtime on February 17, 2022 for The O'Brien Lecture Series hosted by the Medieval and Early Modern Studies Program. 

Boxer is a historian of medieval art whose work centers on the connections between medieval image-making practices and period ideas about vision, knowledge, and the capacity of images to structure and guide thought. She is currently teaching a new undergraduate course, "Radical Bodies in Medieval Art," this spring semester.

The lecture is open to the public. Registration is required.
