Contemporary Arts Museum Houston Fellowship

Open to one undergraduate or graduate student at Rice, this fellowship offers the opportunity to work as an intern at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH). The fellow will gain professional museum experience by assisting the curatorial department, focusing primarily on a major upcoming exhibition and publication that will survey the work of a renowned Houston-based contemporary artist. Details on specific areas and project research will be released soon. 

All graduate students and undergraduate students (excluding graduating seniors) of any major are welcome to apply.

Undergraduate students successfully awarded with the CAMH Fellowship will be required to enroll in three credits of HART 301 in both the fall and spring semesters during their museum internship. Graduate fellows will be required to enroll in three credits of HART 501 in the fall and spring semesters.


To apply: submit 1) a brief (1-2 page) statement discussing the applicant's interest in contemporary art and curatorial experience, 2) a CV, and 3) an unofficial transcript.
