Ph.D. candidate Adrienne Rooney's review of Relational Undercurrents: Contemporary Art of the Caribbean Archipelago (2017), an exhibition catalogue coedited by Tatiana Flores and Michelle A. Stephens for the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA, has been published by caa.reviews. The catalogue attends to artistic production of the Caribbean islands and their diasporas through essays by the editors and multiple contributors. 


Adrienne Rooney is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Art History at Rice University. She received her B.A. in art history from Barnard College/Columbia University (2012). Adrienne studies twentieth-century art and visual culture in the Americas with a focus on the Caribbean and United States South.
