Beatrice Chan is a PhD student on the Museum Professionals track at Rice University and serves as the Curatorial Assistant in the Asian Art department at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, where she continues to work on Chinese ceramics and Buddhist sculptures. Her research focuses include Chinese painting traditions, as well as collectors and the development of collections of Asian art in the 20th century. Prior to Houston, Chan held museum internships at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
