This exhibition features a series of photographs taken by the participants in a ten-day journey to Cuba, organized as part of "A Revolution form Within: Trends in Contemporary Cuban Culture," a research seminar taught last spring by professors Luis Duno-Gottberg and Fabiola López-Durán.  The research seminar explores contemporary trends in Cuban culture through a variety of literary texts, films, music, architecture and works of art.  As a laboratory for cultural research, this seminar took a trip through urban and rural Cuba, from Havana to Trinidad to the Valle de los Ingenios, providing an extraordinary opportunity to meet artists, intellectuals, musicians and other professionals from the island.  These images represent multiple ways of seeing a country, which has been off-limits to U.S. citizens for decades.
