GHUM1005 - Signatures of Civilization: Part I, A Survey of Art History From the Ancient to the Medieval (9/13-11/8)  In this two-part series spanning the fall of 2012 and the spring of 2013 at Rice's Glasscock School of Continuing Studies, distinguished faculty of Rice University's Department of Art History will embark on a journey of discovery as they analyze the art of both ancient and recent civilizations. In Part I this fall, participants will explore the ancient to the medieval, including works from Greece, Rome, Western Europe and China.
